Day 1 of 4 witnessed the opening of #SKILLSHOP by Hon. Abdulhammed Salawu, the Executive Chairman of Somolu Local Government. He was competently represented by Supervisor for Agric and Sports, Hon. Hector Ayo-Coker. He reiterated the commitment to upskill the youths via ICT. He also noted that #SKILLSHOP is the second edition of such ICT initiatives organized to bring tech skills closer to the youths in Somolu Local Government via partnership and collaboration.

Further more, Kola Muhammed, Special Adviser on ICT to The Executive Chairman, Somolu LG, and the coordinator of #SKILLSHOP explained further on the modality, content, duration and what participants should look forward to at #SKILLSHOP

Also, in attendance were Hon. Tosin Odubanjo, Supervisor for ICT, Somolu Local Government. Mrs. Yemisi Adigun, Head of ICT Unit, Somolu Local Government.

Similarly, the representative of the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund LSETF), Mr. Hansen Moses described the initiative as one of the initiatives that align with Lagos State Employer-bility programmes and as such, the agency of government would be available to give the youth the necessary support in achieving their career goal.
